Family Counselling in London

I have been in private practice since 2001 and work with individuals, couples and families. I have been involved with the problems, needs and changing patterns of individual, couple and family relationships.

I abide by the code of ethics and practice of the 'British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy' (BACP). BACP is the UK's professional membership association for counsellors and psychotherapists.

The kind of therapy I practice rests on the interaction between people, as it unfolds in the therapy room, or in your home or by email. I treat each person as a unique individual. I treat each family as a unique entity.

Therapy can help you when you are going through a difficult time, and I know that it has helped some of the people closest to me too.

I can understand how reluctant you can be to take the first step because you are not sure whether you'd be able to share your thoughts and feelings with a stranger.

If you are seeking information and reassurance, I really believe that it would be better to meet and talk all this through.

You can also send me a message through the securemail zone.

I really believe that many life crises can be avoided simply by developing our capacity to be aware of what we are doing and why we are really doing it.

Throughout my professional life, an aspect of my work has always involved some form of counselling role or other. I discovered that very often the simple act of truly listening to people's needs would bring about astonishing results. A three-year diploma course in Psychology, a certificate in Counselling and 5 years as a workshop and group therapist leader are helping me in my understanding of the therapeutic process.

As a workshop leader, I facilitate small groups and workshops, as well as occasional weekend and group work training. Experienced with children (from 8 years old), adolescents, adults, couples and families.
